I believe that this is a very intelligent thing to say. I think he is saying that if you haven't changed since you were years younger than you are now, maybe even a few, you haven't had the chance to experience your WHOLE LIFE. You have missed an important part of your life. You will wast your life if you don't take advantage of it. Don't be afraid to change and do things differently. Don't stick to the same plan your whole life! Change and experience every part of your life because it is ALL IMPORTANT! The only reason I could see someone wasting their whole life is because they take it for granted. You only have ONE life; live it! What is the point of life if you don't experience things and live it to its fullest?
